Icefall Basic Course
This icefall climbing course sticks to low guiding ratios to enable you
to develop the needed skills to climb safely in glaciated terrain.

axe technique, winter belaying |
| D3 : ice screws and
protection, stance organisation, Abolakov anchors, rappelling safely

| D4 & D5 : Introduction to
great icefalls climbing & to dry tooling |

Cogne, Montriond, Fer à Cheval, Glacier d'Argentière, Fournel,
